Lucky Canada

A  large and rich country Canada finaly attracts the best dancers from around the World to come and teach and make a good living.

Canada's standard of dance is finaly and exponencially improving thanks to good teachers,  standardized rules under new CADA leadership, and its good relationship with Worlds recognized IDSF,  dancesport association.

The Canadian  talented youth, adult dancers and even Senior dancers have started to enjoy worldwide recognition,  and Canada is always welcome whenever they dance and represent country abroad.

CADA financialy sponsor Canadian dancesport athletes in numerous competitions,  whilest the provincial affiliates, such as OADA  provides financial subsidies and supports their champions at all age groups during the national closed chamionships.

Canadian dancers, belonging to their representative organisations study dance in numerous dance clubs,  many identifying themselves with their clubs,  and the clubs facilitate new dance opportunities, through discipline and vigorous training, while encouraging their students to take lessons from visiting dance experts.

Yes,  there is an oposition and people who criticize Canada, calling CADA, supporters naive.  But Canada is lucky to have this oposition,  because Canada is a large country,  with a rich farming community,  and this oposition allows the regional and local farmers enter several low profile dance events, which is especially enjoyable during the long, cold, snowy  and boring winter months.

It is this oposition which helps introduce newcomers to dance which is so important for the communities,  often resulting in discovery of new talent, which if interested to get better, joints CADA and all advantage such affiliation brings.

We should not forget about the healthy a prosperous and cooperative relationship between CADA and Canadian Dance Federation ( CDF )  which fosters cooperation and friendly support one to another.

CADA with cooperation of dance organizers welcomes dancesport athletes from around the World,  and together  sponsor World class competitions, and offer World titles.

Canada is a rich and free country,  where freedom, including the freedom of speach is allowed and valued.  For that reason Canada is often a subject to attacks and jellousy.   Freedom does not come cheap,  and Canadians must be prepared to step to the plate and protect  what they  value.

Lets look forward to March 21, and 22  when  Canadian Champions shall defend their titles,   and people will cheer to them  and raise the roof to salute to them and to new champions,  who will in turn be sponsored and send to the World championships, wherever they may be.

Well done canadian dancesport  and to all who give it their full hearted support !

So Canadian Closed Championships are sold out, with no hotel room to spare  ?

Good luck to all dancers traveling to Halifax.   This may be  an unprecedented show of support for CADA and dancesport in Canada.

Dancesport in Canada needs no advertising.  If only everyone could get together and pulled on the same side of the rope.

That`s great to hear. Congratulations to CADA! Great for Dancesport in Canada. For everyones info the CDDSC Amatuer Championships also were a great success also, with an audience of over 1000 spectators on one of the worst snow storms in the last century! No mean feat. So it is great that Canadian Dancesport can attract so many people to 2 Dancesport events within weeks. Things look good. Except for the CADA bans ruining things.

To Puppy,

Sambatogo is not sure what you want to disregard? But if you think the CDDSC has no quality then you are not sure of your facts. The CDDSC has top Professionals that were former CADA champions and Amatuers that rank amongst the highest placings in Open International events. So what you are refering to is not clear, or at least informed incorrectly. just to clarify the situation. But Sambatogo agrees, good luck to all that are competing in the CADA Championships.

Sambatogo.
