The Azerbaijan champions, Eldar Dzhafarov & Anna Sazina, decided to turn professional. Today was their debut as professionals - at the International Championships they danced the Professional Rising Star Standard and got the 2nd place.
Anna and Eldar were ranked at the top of the WDC Amateur League in both Ballroom and 10 Dance. In December 2008, they were the WDC Amateur League World Ballroom champions. In April 2008 they got the title of WDC Amateur League World 10 Dance champions. They represented Azerbaijan at the IDSF World and European championships as well in all the styles. See their results.
