Manuel Favilla and Karolina Paliwoda split

Manuel Favilla and Karolina Paliwoda, an Amateur Latin couple, have split up after dancing together for slightly over one year. Manuel and Karolina represented the USA and made the finals of many North American Competitions, placing fourth at the 2009 USA National Amateur Latin Championships. See more results.
With her previous partner, Karolina was the 2005-2006 Canadian Youth Latin, Standard and 10 Dance Champion, the 2007-2008 Canadian and North American Adult 10 Dance Champion (placing second in Amateur Latin and Standard divisions), and placed 5th at the 2008 IDSF World 10 Dance Championships.
Manuel with his former partner Milena represented Poland at the IDSF World Youth Latin in 2006 where they danced in the semifinal. They were Polish Youth Latin silver medallists earlier that year.
They would like to thank their families and friends for all their support throughout their partnership.
They would like to thank all of the teachers with whom they had the opportunity to study with throughout their partnership, including Allan Tornsberg, Vibeke Toft, Espen Salberg, Ralf Lepehne and Colin James.
Karolina is now looking for a new dance partner for Latin or 10 dances.
